Fred Sterhan
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Fred Sterhan is the Vice President of Operations with an unwavering commitment to hospitality and servant leadership. With a wealth of expertise spanning twenty-five years in general management within the full-service hotel, resort, and condo-resort industry and an additional seven years in business development, management, and senior living concept design, Fred brings invaluable insight to Paradigm Atlantic and Indigo. Known for his dedication to creating unforgettable experiences for residents and stakeholders alike, Fred embodies the essence of hospitality and continuously strives to exceed expectations. His visionary approach and ability to forge strong relationships with team members and stakeholders contribute to his success in driving operational excellence and achieving sustainable growth.
Lee Cory
MANAGING PARTNER
Lee Cory is the Founder and President of Paradigm Senior Living and CEO of Paradigm Atlantic. Prior to beginning his involvement with Senior Housing in 1983, Lee spent several years in the field of Hotel and Restaurant Management. Lee earned a BS Degree from Michigan State University in 1979. He has been a nationally recognized speaker and educator for many regional and national senior housing and healthcare associations, including the National Association for Senior Living Industry Executives (NASLIE), Member and Past Board Member of Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA), Advisory Member of The American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA), AIC Conferences, and The American Health Care Association (AHCA).
Joseph Fawole
MANAGING PARTNER
Joseph Fawole is responsible for managing the asset management functions, sales and marketing, and hospitality departments and assists in the overall operations and client partner relations.
With over 20+ years in Hospitality leadership roles, Joseph brings the unique ability to build solid and sustaining teams and possesses strong local market expertise. He has proven abilities to train, hire, evaluate, and motivate associates. Joseph is both a problem solver and a developer of talent and has worked closely with owners, including high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors, to maximize the value of their investments through critical analysis, creative business planning, and sound marketing and management. Joseph currently serves on multiple industry and non-profit boards.
BJ Miller Prosser, FASID, CCIM
MANAGING PARTNER
BJ Miller Prosser, FASID, CCIM, is a managing partner of Indigo and Paradigm Atlantic, bringing over three decades of work in the senior living space with commercial real estate (CCIM), development, interior architecture, and research which underlie her subject matter expertise. In addition to Urban Redevelopment Alliance (URA), a mixed-use development company she founded in 2003, BJ has held positions on the development teams of MCA, a memory care operator, and Second 50 Group, a senior “CCRC” rental model. Forming her health care design company in 1992, The Vision Group Studios, LLC, her team has worked on numerous projects across the country, involving all aspects of senior living from 55+ Active Adult to the Veteran’s Administration small house and household models.
Shannon Van Etten
MANAGING PARTNER
Shannon Van Etten is the co-founder of Indigo and Paradigm Atlantic and serves as Director of Acquisitions and strategic partnerships. Shannon brings over twenty-five years of experience in financial analysis, deal structure, partnership, and joint venture formation, real estate acquisitions, mortgage banking, finance, law firm management, construction, and private lending. Shannon formerly served as the CEO and board chairman for Realserv, LLC, created by the for-profit subsidiary of the North Carolina Association of REALTORS® to serve over 150,000 REALTORS® across 17states in areas of forms system enhancements and vendor management systems development.
Walt Gill

Walt Gill leads the real estate development and construction at Paradigm and is a visionary leader with over thirty years of experience in construction, development, and investments. With over $2 billion in project delivery experience and an impressive portfolio of more than 300 completed construction, development, and investment projects, Walt has demonstrated his ability to consistently meet client expectations by delivering exceptional results on time and within budget. Throughout his career, Walt has earned a reputation for building enduring relationships that transcend individual projects. He uses his expertise, experience, and passion for the community to ensure that Paradigm serves to the highest standards.
